Who we are
Coach Compass ("we", "us") operates Coach Compass, a planner for coaches. We act as the data controller for personal data collected through the Service, other than payment data, for which our payment provider Paddle acts as controller.
What we collect and why
- Account data — name, email, avatar, sign-in method — to create and secure your account.
- Product content — client records, sessions, programs, nutrition targets, notes you add to the Service — to provide the coaching planner features.
- Usage and device data — logs, IP address, browser/device identifiers — for security, fraud prevention, and to improve the Service.
- Support communications — messages you send us — to respond to you and improve support.
Legal bases
We process data to perform our contract with you (providing the Service), for our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement), and where required by law.
Who we share data with
- Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, database, and infrastructure providers used to operate the Service.
- Payment provider — Paddle.com acts as our Merchant of Record and handles all payments, subscription management, tax compliance, invoicing, and refunds.
- Professional advisers — such as accountants and legal advisers, where necessary.
- Authorities — where required by law.
How long we keep data
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal and operational purposes. You can request deletion of your account at any time.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to portability. To exercise these rights, contact us through your account. If you are in the UK or EEA, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
International transfers
Some of our subprocessors and Paddle operate outside your country. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege permissions — to protect your data.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We do not use cookies for advertising.
