1. Who you're contracting with
These terms are a contract between you and Coach Compass ("we", "us"). By creating an account or continuing to use our software (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.
2. The Service
Coach Compass is a planner and workspace for coaches to organize clients, sessions, programs, nutrition, assessments, and business operations. We provide access on a subscription basis under the plan you select.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service in violation of applicable laws;
- use the Service for fraud, spam, or to harass others;
- infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
- attempt to circumvent security controls, probe our systems, scrape, or introduce malware.
4. Your account and content
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You retain ownership of content you add (client records, notes, programs). You grant us a limited license to host, store, and process that content solely to provide the Service.
5. Intellectual property
We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including software, documentation, and branding. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.
6. Service availability
We work hard to keep the Service running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance and updates as needed.
7. Payment, subscriptions, taxes, cancellations, and refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment terms, taxes, billing cycles, cancellations, and refunds are governed by Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
9. Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose). Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where prohibited by law.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
